FOUR-LEGGED, FURRY FRIENDS SEEKING SIDEKICKS

GREAT FALLS, Montana – Four-legged, furry friends who love to give wet kisses, take long walks and long to be petted are seeking loyal, trustworthy, animal-loving individuals to sign on as their new “shelter sidekick.”

The Great Falls Animal Shelter Volunteer Program, the “Shelter Sidekicks” gets underway this weekend. Those interested in participating in the program are encouraged to attend a Volunteer Information Session on Saturday, April 14, in the Gibson Room of theCivic Center (2 Park Drive S) at either 10 a.m. or 12 p.m. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

Every so often everyone (including animals) needs a helping hand -- which is why the Shelter Sidekicks program was created. Sidekicks are needed to walk dogs, return lost pets to their owners or as an office helper.

To learn more about becoming a Shelter Sidekick go to www.greatfallsmt.net/animalshelter or call Laura McElhinney at 771-1180 x369.
