HELP CHANGE THE FUTURE FOR PETS IN BLACK
“BACK IN BLACK” PROMOTION

GREAT FALLS, Montana – The Great Falls Animal Shelter is running a “Back in Black” promotion to help change the future for shelter pets. Starting Friday, July 6, through Saturday, August 4, all dogs and cats that are black (or mostly black) can be adopted for the low price of $40, which includes the adoption fee and a refundable rabies deposit. All kittens, (over two months old), regardless of color are also included in the promotion.

Don’t let the cost of spaying or neutering scare you away from becoming a pet owner. Thanks to a generous community donor, the Shelter has funds to help cover the cost of altering animals that are adopted during this month long promotion. Per Montana Code, all animals leaving a Montana shelter must be spayed or neutered. Dogs and cats needing to be altered will be transported to a veterinarian of the new owner’s choice to be spayed or neutered.

Black dogs and cats make wonderful pets and have great personalities, but often get overlooked for adoption simply because of the color of their fur. Don’t miss out on the “Back in Black” promotion! Help change the future for an animal at the Great Falls Animal Shelter.

Staff at the Shelter is ready to assist prospective pet owners find their perfect companion. For more information about the “Back in Black” promotion or becoming a new pet owner, contact the Great Falls Animal Shelter at 454-2276.
