AUGUST IS CLASSICS MONTH AT THE
GREAT FALLS ANIMAL SHELTER

GREAT FALLS, Montana – Everyone loves a good classic and animals are no exception. The Great Falls Animal Shelter is celebrating Hot August Nights throughout the entire month and is running an adoption promotion to encourage the adoption of all their classics. All classics, those dogs and cats that are six years or older, can be adopted for the low price of $40. The promotion begins Wednesday, August 1, and ends Friday, August 31.

Worried you don’t have enough bread for spaying and neutering expenses? Don’t flip your lid because the Great Falls Animal Shelter has you covered. Thanks to a hip community donor, the Shelter has funds to help cover the cost of altering animals during the Hot August Nights promotion. Per Montana Code, all animals leaving a Montana shelter must be spayed or neutered. Dogs and cats needing to be altered will be transported to a veterinarian of the new owner’s choice to be spayed or neutered.

Classics (a.k.a. slightly older pets) can make the perfect addition to any home or family. Older animals tend to be more mature, make good companions and have a lot of love to give their new forever home. While at the shelter, classics can be easily identified by the classic car tag placed on their kennel.

Staff at the Shelter is ready to assist prospective pet owners find the perfect out of this world companion. For more information about the Hot August Nights promotion or becoming an owner of a classic pet, contact the Great Falls Animal Shelter at 454-2276.
