GREAT FALLS, Montana – Your mission if you choose to accept it… is to provide a forever home to a shelter animal. Next Tuesday and Wednesday (November 27 and 28) from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. the Great Falls Animal Shelter will be hosting a two day event where adoptions of all animals in the shelter will be free. All animals adopted during the event will be altered, vaccinated and will receive a city license and nametag.

In lieu of adoption fees the shelter will be accepting donations for the Guardian Angel Fund. This Fund provides for the veterinary care of animals at the shelter as well as covers the cost of spaying and neutering of animals during adoption promotions.

Winter can be a busy time at the shelter. Lost and stray animals make their way out of the cold into the safe haven of the shelter, and owners oftentimes surrender animals into the care of the shelter for a number of different reasons. The Great Falls Animal Shelter becomes for many, a second chance at finding a new owner and forever home. In general, during this time of year, people are so busy getting ready for the holidays, they often forget about our four-legged friends that need help and rescuing. The shelter is currently seeing an influx of kittens and cats. Visit the Animal Shelter website to view photos of some of the available animals.

Funding for the Mission Pawsible event is provided by a generous community donor. This offer will self-destruct Wednesday, November 28, at 5:30 p.m.  Visit the Great Falls Animal Shelter to find your perfect partner.
