PETS & THEIR OWNERS ENCOURAGED TO PARTCIPATE IN 4TH OF JULY PARADE

The Shelter Sidekicks, the Great Falls Animal Shelter’s volunteer program, will once again be participating in the 4th of July Parade this year. And they are looking for pets and their owners to join in on the fun and help represent the Shelter!

Those interested in riding on the float in the parade with the Sidekicks are encouraged to wear patriotic colors or their Great Falls Animal Shelter t-shirt.

Events and activities like this are a great way to spread the word about the Great Falls Animal Shelter and promote the adoption of shelter animals. The parade is Friday, July 4, at 11 a.m. in Downtown Great Falls. If you and your pet plan on  participating contact Laura McElhinney, Volunteer Coordinator at 564-3685.

UPDATE:  The Shelter float received 3rd place!

Please view the attached map of where to the Shelter Sidekicks to ride the float.
