THE GREAT FALLS ANIMAL SHELTER IS AT-CAT-PACITY!

GREAT FALLS, Montana – Kitten and cat season is in full swing in Great Falls, and the Shelter is at-cat-pacity, but the higher numbers of friendly felines means new pet owners benefit! Currently, through Saturday, August 31, the Shelter is offering an adoption promotion where cats and kittens can be adopted for only $25! This is the perfect time to provide a forever home to a shelter pet.

New pet owners will also be responsible for the cost to spay/neuter their cat and a rabies vaccination ($15) if necessary. However, many of the adult cats at the Shelter are currently altered!  Per Montana Code, all animals leaving a Montana shelter must be altered. Cats needing to be altered will be transported to a veterinarian of the new owner’s choice. For kittens that are too young to be altered at this time, there is a $100 spay/neuter refundable deposit.

For more information about adopting a cat and becoming a pet owner contact the Great Falls Animal Shelter at 454-2276.
