Design Review Board
Ordinance 2722 in 1997. Revised by Ordinance 2923, September 2005 (Land Development Code OCCGF 17.12.3.010).
Reviews specified types of development proposals to ensure that the design and aesthetics conform to the review criteria contained in OCCGF, Title 17. The Board may approve or deny, in whole or in part, or may modify and set conditions for approval, or provide advice and counsel.
Five members appointed by the City Commission. Members are appointed with an effort to achieve a diversity of expertise, background, and interest. Membership is preferred to include two architects and three individuals chosen for their interest and expertise in design or community aesthetics.
Three year terms.
Meeting Schedule and Location
Meets second and fourth Monday of each month, as needed, at 3 p.m. if necessary. The meetings are normally held in the Rainbow Room of the Civic Center.
Members must reside in the City of Great Falls.
