An Advisory Commission on International Relationships is hereby created to serve in an advisory capacity to the City Commission. (Ord. 2788, 2000).
The purpose of the Advisory Commission shall provide support, coordination and exchange of information for international programs in the community. The group shall develop its own mission statement. (Ord. 2788, 2000).
The Advisory Commission shall consist of nine to eleven members appointed by the City Commission. Each of the members shall be appointed to hold office for a period of three years and until a successor is appointed and qualified. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term of any member whose term becomes vacant. All of the members of the Board shall serve without compensation, and are subject to removal by the City Commission for cause upon written charges and after public hearing.
