The City Clerk's Office serves as the City's resource for informational, historical and legislative services for the community, the public, City departments and City agencies.  The City Clerk's Office is dedicated to preparing the proceedings of the City Commission and preserving City records, using integrity to offer timely and courteous service to the citizens and staff of Great Falls, Montana.

The City Clerk's Office records official actions and legislation of the municipal government and retains other legal and historical records.  The City Clerk manages the official record  center for all City  Commission agenda packets, ordinances, resolutions, recorded documents, Commission meeting minutes, contracts and other documents adopted by the City Commission.

City Commission meetings are broadcast live via Great Falls City-190, cable channel 190.

On occasion there is a possibility that three or more members of the Commission may be attending an event or function initiated or not initiated by the City of Great Falls.  When the City Clerk's Office is made aware of Commission invitations or notified of upcoming events/occasions not initiated by the City Commission, a Notice of possible quorum will be posted below.  There may be instances that a quorum occurs at an event by happenstance.  However, during these informal gatherings, there will be no Commission agenda, no deliberations, no decisions made, and no minutes taken/prepared.
