Great Falls Housing Authority Celebrates 75 Years!

Great Falls, Montana – The Great Falls Housing Authority (GFHA) is proud to be celebrating its 75th Anniversary next month! The public and members of the media are invited to an Anniversary Celebration to commemorate this exciting event on Friday, August 16, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in Dronen Hall (1500 Chowen Springs Loop). Memorabilia and photographs showcasing GFHA’s accomplishments over the past 75 years will be on display, bus tours to GFHA properties will be available and light refreshments will be served.

The mission of GFHA, in partnership with its residents, is to responsibly and respectfully make safe, basic, affordable housing available to qualifying individuals and families. GFHA also educates and assists residents to develop the necessary skills to maintain successful residency, improve the quality of life and pursue self-sufficiency.

GFHA is proud to celebrate 75 years of successfully  meeting the housing needs of income eligible families in the Great Falls community. GFHA owns and operates five public housing complexes (490 units), a Section Eight housing program (200 units) and 32 units of Affordable Housing in Great Falls, Montana. 

When asked about the 75th Anniversary, Kevin Hager, Executive Director had this to say, “It’s been my pleasure and honor to work for this organization for 37 years. I am very fortunate to have dedicated staff members who are committed to providing our community with excellent housing options and stellar customer service.  Please join us next month  in celebrating our anniversary.”
