City of Great Falls Montana

The Commission recently approved a three-year lease agreement with the Great Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) for the operation of the Visitor Center, effective immediately. The Visitor Center provides maps, brochures, event calendars, coupons, magazines and general information for the Great Falls area and State of Montana.

Nine Little Free Libraries have found homes in Great Falls parks. Little Free Libraries are “take a book, return a book” gathering places where neighbors share books and stories. At its most basic, a little free library is a structure, or a box, that holds books, and is placed in a public area where community members can borrow a book and replace it with another. This program has gained much popularity nationwide.

It has been said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but at the Shelter we believe that dogs and cats make the best friends! Monday, August 4 - Friday, August 15, the Shelter is celebrating Diva Days, by offering half price adoption prices for dogs and cats. Dogs can be adopted for $70 and cats for $25.
