The Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts is located in the heart of downtown Great Falls in the Civic Center, a building designated a national historic landmark. The Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts serves as a venue for cultural, social and entertainment events in this region – from trade shows and dances to concerts, theatrical productions and more. The Civic Center is also home to many City offices.

The Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts' daily operations are coordinated by the Mansfield Events Office.
In 2002, to honor the late Senator Mike Mansfield, the Great Falls City Commission renamed the Theater and Convention Center the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts. The venue also offers six meeting rooms and support services such as event labor and security; event planning; theatrical labor; usher services and box office ticketing.
