Policies
- Rental fees are based on non-profit rates.
- • Standard rental are 8:00 a.m.-midnight.
- Rentals extending beyond standard hours will be assessed an additional hourly fee.
- Set-up and tear-down days are charged at half the full day rate.
- A damage deposit is required with every rental.
- Rentals must be paid one business day prior to event day.
- A condition report on the room will be done before and after each event to assess use/return of the damage deposit.
- Use of open flame (including candles), propane or gas appliances are is not permitted.
- Tape is not allowed on any facility wall, door or floor.
- Rentals of the Mansfield Theater and Mansfield Convention Center (when a band or musical act is involved) require hiring the stage manager (2-hour minimum).
- Concessions and merchandising sales are charged 20% of gross, payable the day of event.
- The Gibson Room provides handicap access for the building Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and some events might find this disruptive.
- Some rooms come with a "standard setup" which may be changed for a nominal fee.
- All room capacities are fire code approved.
- Illegal drugs and weapons of any type are not permitted in the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts.
- The Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts is a non-smoking building.
