Update on 3rd Alarm Fire

UPDATE ON THE FIRE AT 2400 BLOCK OF 11TH AVENUE SOUTH

GREAT FALLS, Montana – On Sunday, November 4, 2012, Great Falls Fire Rescue fire investigators concluded their examination of the fire scene and released the building back to the owner, Mr. Jay Nash of Great Falls.

Firefighters have remained on the scene since the fire was reported early in the morning on Monday, October 29, 2012.  Great Falls Fire Rescue fire investigators estimate the fire loss including building and contents to be in excess of one million dollars. Great Falls Fire Rescue fire investigators continue to investigate the origin and cause of the fire.

Fire Chief McCamley explained, “This is an ongoing investigation, our fire investigators will need time to review their findings and witness statements before drawing any conclusions.”

The businesses located in the building were: Nelson Insurance Services, Hutchinson’s Electrical, Rioux Windows & Doors, Pretty Girls and Falls Books.
