NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL #7 TO HOST A

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PRESENTATION

GREAT FALLS, Montana – Neighborhood Council #7 will host a Neighborhood Watch presentation on Monday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the Whittier School gymnasium (305 8th Street N). This presentation will kick off a Neighborhood Watch Program in the area aimed at increasing community involvement and, ultimately, lowering crime in the area.  The evening will focus on how residents can build stronger neighborhoods, one block at a time.  The event is open to the public and light refreshments, provided by downtown businesses, will be provided.

Special guests will include the Neighborhood Watch Program Director Carol Bronson of NeighborWorks Great Falls, Sergeant Bryan Slavik of the Great Falls Police Department, and Eric Ray, Chairperson of Neighborhood Council #5, which has had numerous successful recruitment events.  In addition, Ryan Hart, principal at Whittier School, will talk about specific issues surrounding the school.
