    Starting on May 20 at 7:00 PM, TEDxGreatFallsLibrary is moving to Tuesday evenings at the Library. TEDxGreatFallsLibrary is an evening of TED Talks and lively discussion. This program is free and open to the public. Each month the Library will show three TED Talks videos featuring experts in their fields sharing cutting edge ideas, innovation, and progressive ways of applying expertise for the betterment of society.

    The 35th Annual Ice Breaker Road Race will be held Sunday, April 27, 2014. The five-mile road race offers a competitive format; and the three-mile run offers both a competitive and recreational format. Pacer the Penguin will be entered in the one-mile race and will be challenging kids of all ages.     Park and Recreation received a donation to purchase a pair of Black Swans and a pair of Mute Swans. Both pairs are yearlings and arrived in Great Falls last month. All waterfowl including the new swans will be released into Gibson Pond this Friday at 10:30am.

The evening will focus on how residents can build stronger neighborhoods, one block at a time. The event is open to the public and the Sunnyside PTA will provide light refreshments.

    Time is running out to attend the 2nd Annual Great Falls Animal Shelter Murder Mystery Party! “Murder Among the Mateys,” will be held on Saturday, March 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge (1501 9th Street S). The cost to attend is $25 per character/$45 per character couple and $20 for those attending, but not playing a character.
