    The 2012 Care Enough to Wear Pink Campaign kicks off on Monday. For the next two weeks, fire fighters will be wearing Care Enough to Wear Pink shirts instead of their normal work uniform to provide an image of hope and encouragement to those who have had or are currently battling cancer. Care Enough to Wear Pink t-shirts will be available for purchase for $20 at various locations throughout Great Falls as a fundraiser for local charities.

    Thank you to everyone who donated, bid, and worked at the Silent Auction over the weekend.  This event was very successful and we could not have done it without your help!  The proceeds will benefit the Great Falls Animal Shelter's Guardian Angel Fund, which helps the shelter animals that are in need of veterinary care and helps with the cost of spaying and neutering animals.  Thank you again.

    The Growth Policy Environmental Working Group will begin meeting this Thursday, September 27 and October 4 and 11 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Planning and Community Development Conference Room (1st floor of the Civic Center, office 112). The meetings are open to the public. The Environmental Working Group will focus on issues related to natural resources, open spaces, storm water, conservation and environmental health.
