City of Great Falls Montana

Charter Communications moved to an all new digital platform in Great Falls, all Public, Education and Government (PEG) channels were moved to a “Public Affairs Neighborhood” on their channel lineup. A part of this conversion included the City’s channel 7 (City-7) becoming channel 190 (City-190). These changes took place on or about November 24, 2014.

A municipal mail ballot election will be held this year.  The filing dates are May 4-July 2, 2015.

 

The municipal election is for the selection of (1) Mayor, (2) City Commissioners, (45) Neighborhood Council Representatives, and (1) Municipal Court Judge. If the Cascade County Election Administrator determines that a primary election needs to be held, the Primary Election will take place on September 15, 2015.  The General Election will take place on November 3, 2015. The Great Falls Public Library is hosting a three-part series on preparing for the upcoming gardening season on Thursday evenings in March.  These programs, which are free and open to the public, will be presented by local Master Gardeners.  The programs will begin at 7:00 pm.
