Advisory Commission on International Relationships

Mission Statement

The mission of the Advisory Commission on International Relationships (ACIR) is to promote, facilitate and nurture international relationships for the City of Great Falls serving as a liaison for information and opportunities. These would relate to areas such as culture, medical, educational, or business.

Meeting Schedule

Fourth Tuesday of every month; 7:00-9:00 pm in the Rainbow Room of the Civic Center.

Creation

Created by Ordinance 2788 on November 8, 2000, and revised by Ordinance 2863 on October 21, 2003.

Purpose

Provides support, coordination, and exchange of information for international programs in the community.

Membership

Nine to eleven volunteer members, appointed by the City Commission, who are interested in different cultures, international information exchanges, and promoting Great Falls to the world.

Term

Staggered Three-year terms.

None stipulated.
