Pandemic Flu Information
No one knows when a strain of flu may become a pandemic, although some feel that Avian (bird) flu could become a pandemic strain. The following sites contain information about flu, avian flu and pandemics including what you should know and how to prepare.

Emergency Information
If you are involved in or witness an emergency:
- Make sure 911 has been contacted
- Do NOT put yourself or others in danger
- Follow the advice of the emergency services personnel
- Try to remain calm and think before acting
- Check for injuries, and remember to attend to yourself before attempting to help others
If you are not involved in the incident, but are close by or believe you may be in danger:
- Go inside a safe building
- Stay inside until you are advised to do otherwise
- Tune in to local radio or TV and check the internet for information
