The Utility Bill
The Utility Bill includes six different services for Residential and Commercial accounts. These services and charges are outlined in the Rate Schedule, and are summarized below:
You will receive your utility bill monthly. Utility payments are due 15 days after the bill is processed. The due date appears on your bill.
You may pay the bill in several ways: Cash, Check, Money Order, Visa/Mastercard, Direct Pay (Debits your checking or savings account). You can also pay view account information and make payments online -- Online Payment Information
You can pay in person at the Fiscal Services Dept, Room 104 of the Civic Center during the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Or, you may use our 24-hour depository located at the Civic Center parking lot next to the Convention Center driveway.
Please make all checks or money orders payable to the City of Great Falls and include your utility account number on the check. Occasionally a bank may not honor a check because of insufficient funds. A returned check fee will be charged.
Services With Monthly Charges
WATER - based on metered consumption
SEWER - based on metered consumption
RESIDENTIAL - Flat rate based upon winter average, - (December-March meter reads)
COMMERCIAL - Based on monthly metered consumption
AVERAGED COMMERCIAL - Based on winter average at the commercial rate.
STORM DRAIN - based on square feet and property land use codes.
SANITATION (Refuse Collection) - Fee based on Residential or Commercial status.
FIRE HYDRANT - Fee based on meter size

Fee based on line size. This is for commercial customers only for their sprinkler systems and standpipes used for fire protection.
