All swimming pools will close at 4 p.m. on July 24, for the Pet and Doll Parade.

All programs are offered at the Morony Natatorium unless otherwise noted.

Open Swim at the Natatorium

The pool is open to the general public of all ages. Life jackets are available for those who need them. Children under 42 inches need to be accompanied by an adult in the pool.

Friday: 4:00 -8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 1:00-6:00pm

Fee: $1.50/youth (4-17)  $2.50/adult (18 and older)
Children under 4 years swim free if accompanied by a paying adult.

Swim Lessons

Classes for ages 5 & up from beginners to advanced and are taught by YMCA/American Red Cross certificated lifeguards.

Sessions run Monday-Friday for two weeks. All levels available at each session. Last day of lessons will be held at the Electric City Water Park and includes the Flow Rider! Time to be announced at end of session.

$40.00 per session. Per Child - (every child thereafter in the same family $35.00)

Skippers I

Parent and child aquatic program, is a progression towards developing personal growth, personal safety and rescue skills using songs, games and stunts with an instructor who leads the team in guided discovery. Requires Parent Participation. Ages 6 months to 3 years

Skippers II

Your child is now able to understand at a basic level, skill objectives, guided activities, and performance of each objective. A large number of games, activities and songs are used for this transition of becoming independent in the water. Ages 3 years to 5 years

Adult Programs

Lap Swimming

The Natatorium has six lanes available, if we are crowed we do ask that swimmers circle swim or wait until a spot is available

One lane is available during other programs. See the Weekly Schedule for times.

Fee: $2.50 Session or $25.00 monthly

Open Fitness

Pool is open for adult fitness activities which include water walking, lap swimming, as well as the access to water fitness equipment. Not led by an instructor.
Monday-Friday 8:00-9:00 am
Fee: $25/monthly

Water Exercise

Basic Water Exercise gives you a cardiovascular aerobic workout that allows participants to work at a low impact and low intensity workout. Class is held in the shallow end of the pool

Aqua Fit gives you cardiovascular aerobic workout this is low impact, high intensity water aerobics. This class is held in the shallow end of the pool

Aqua Challenge focuses on endurance, coordination and strength. Class is held in the deep end of the pool

Add Lap Swim for $35.00 Monthly

30 Minute Power Workout, Looking for the ultimate water workout! Try this high energy, high intensity, fun packed deep water program. Participants have the option of wearing resistance buoyancy equipment. Call in registration is required prior to class. Class limited to 15. Call 452-3733 for more information.

Fee: $3/daily or $30.00 monthly

Aquatic Solutions
This program is designed for individuals who have orthopedic injuries, MS, spinal injuries, stroke or arthritis. For more information contact Marian Permann at 788-1936.

BackHab
This program is geared toward participants who have low back pain. It can be chronic back pain or pain from recovering from back injury or surgery, participants Must be finished with primary therapy, and have a release to attend. The goal is lessened pain through better muscle balance, tone and endurance.  This is not a aerobic program; there is no cardio respiratory component.

Cost: $35.00 per month, includes lap swimming.

Multiple Sclerosis Program
Certified instructors provide individualized exercises to enable patrons to have better range of motion, reduce edema, increase flexibility and maintain endurance. Tuesday & Thursday 11:00 am – 12:00 noon

Special Programming

Junior Lifeguard Program

Ages 10-15. This is a basic introduction to lifeguarding. After completion of the coursework and a work shift at the Natatorium and Electric City Water Park, participants receive an all-inclusive day pass to the Electric City Water Park. The class is free. Register at the Natatorium. For additional information call Bev at 452-3733. Friday’s June 13, 27; July 11, and July 25 9:00 am - 12 noon

Kayaking Paddle & Roll Classes

We cover just about everything you need to know to head to the river--power, bracing, and turning strokes emphasizing proper technique, balancing maneuvers, the roll, self and group rescues, river reading, and a host of other topics that will get you to the river in a timely, safe manner. Certified ACA Instructors.

Rural School and Home School Lessons

Time is designated for lessons for outlying schools. Lesson format is under the YMCA of the USA. Academic purposes include water safety, boat safety and stroke refinement

Swim Team

Scuba Lessons
