Annual Kids Fishing Day

Join us June 4, 2011, from 9 am until noon, for the annual Kids Fishing Day at Wadsworth Pond!

Fishing day is a way to familiarize youngsters with the basic elements of fishing: tackle, casting, fly-typing, fish identifications, ethics and safety. Kids who attend a series of educational presentations receive free fishing gear.

Wadsworth Pond is in Wadsworth Park just west of Great Falls. To get there: take Central West or the NW Bypass to 34th St NW; take 34th St NW to Wilkinson Lane; follow Wilkinson Lane to the end. Signs will be posted showing the way.
