Two types of collection vehicles are used to pick up commercial refuse; one system is a rearload packer that will dump a container from one yard capacity up to a three yard capacity; the other system is an automatic sideload packer. This packer will dump one and one half yard to three yard containers.
Commercial users should not put hazardous material, concrete, dirt, construction materials, etc. into containers.
Commercial customers who wish special pick ups or another pick up for a short period will be charged for the number of pickups received, and by the size of the container used for pickup.
A drop box service that includes the placement of 20, 30 or 40 yard drop boxes at business sites is available. Customers are charged for each pickup and by the size of the drop box. There is also a daily rental for a drop box. Drop box rates include waste disposal costs.
