CDBG APPLICATION WORKSHOP
IS THIS THURSDAY

GREAT FALLS, Montana – The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)/HOME Investment Partnership Program Application Workshop is this Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Missouri Room of the Civic Center (2 Park Drive South). The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required. Attendees are asked to register by Wednesday, December 5, by calling 455-8407.

Attendance at the workshop is mandatory for those interested in submitting a CDBG grant application. The workshop is designed to help applicants better understand the application process and the program’s requirements. Participants will learn what types of projects are eligible, the criteria used when reviewing applications and tips for submitting a successful grant application.

Each year the City of Great Falls receives CDBG funds. The CDBG program provides communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs. Since its establishment in 1974, the CDBG program is one of the longest continuously run programs at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

For more information about the upcoming workshop, call Jolene Wetterau, CDBG Grant Administrator, at 455-8407.
