Parking Improvements and Maintenance Nearing Completion
The City of Great Falls has invested more than a quarter million dollars in maintenance and improvements in its downtown parking structures in 2014.
Pigeon netting has been installed under the arching roof of the South Parking Garage. This will eliminate a mess and health hazard, as well as freeing maintenance staff for other tasks.
The North Parking Garage is sporting new paint around its elevators and doors, as well as concrete repairs and extensive waterproofing that will eliminate leaks and extend the life of the structure. New striping will appear before the summer is over. Patrons also know that one of the elevators in the North Parking Garage had to be taken out of service this spring. That elevator is now repaired and in service.
