ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED
GREAT FALLS, Montana – The Great Falls Police Department, along with the Customs and Border Protection Office / Air and Marine, the U.S. Marshal Service, the Cascade County Sheriff's Office, the Montana Highway Patrol are working in conjunction with one another and are currently involved in the investigation of a robbery that occurred last night at the Palace Casino. The suspect was later spotted in a vehicle suspected in the robbery of the Cartwheel Bar the night before.
The Palace Casino, 626 10 Av S, was robbed at gun point on 2/28/13, at 22:22 hours. No one was injured and the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle was seen by a GFPD officer and a pursuit ensued that went south of the Great Falls city limits. The vehicle was consequently wrecked and the suspect fled and later stole another vehicle and this vehicle was also wrecked a short time later. As of about 8:15 AM, the suspect entered a business, Fat Tuesdays, 817 10 Ave So and pointed and subsequently shot a weapon at the employee as the employee was fleeing the business. The suspect missed the employee and fled the scene. A short time later in the third stolen car, the suspect was spotted near the Sandstone Apartments and another pursuit occurred.
The suspect was subsequently arrested in Chowen Springs Park after the suspect had crashed by ramming the concrete barriers surrounding the park's boundaries.
Throughout all this, no one was hurt; however, shots were fired. The case is currently under investigation by multiple agencies. The Great Falls Police Department greatly appreciates all the involved agencies for their hard work and diligence.

Thomas Scott Anderson
29 year old Caucasian male
Numerous felony charges stemming from multiple agencies are pending. Mr. Anderson is currently booked in the Cascade County Detention Center. At this time we are not releasing the names of the victims or officers involved in the shooting.
