Fair Housing Procedures and Services
The City uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, along with other funding sources, to furnish services to further fair housing in Great Falls. The Fair Housing Specialist is available to provide assistance to landlords, tenants, and any other interested individuals. Services provided include but are not restricted to education about the laws related to housing; outreach and education through presentations and written information about fair housing rights and responsibilities; assisting tenants and landowners, through mediation, to reconcile disputes dealing with landlord and tenant relationships; providing detailed training and assistance to individuals and community groups; and, providing referral services to city, state and federal agencies. All services are provided at no cost to citizens.
