Join us for STEM Expo - Earth Day 2012!
This event is a great opportunity for families in Great Falls and surrounding areas to learn more about Earth Day. There will be games, activities and displays on Earth Day, energy conservation, recycling, hybrid vehicle displays and so much more! The event and activities are free to the public. The names of the poster contest winners will be announced at 1:00 PM.
Earth Day is sponsored by the City of Great Falls, Malmstrom AFB, Pacific Steel & Recycling, Great Falls Public Schools, Weston Solutions, Great Falls Tribune, Citizens for Clean Energy and Montana Waste Systems. This event is in conjunction with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) sponsored by Great Falls Public Schools. Come see all the projects the students have on display. The State of Montana DEQ (Department of Environmental Quality) will be collecting flourescent bulbs for recycling at no cost. Bring in your flourescent bulbs and keep them out of the landfill.
