KEITH AND WADE’S REVENGE GOLF TOURNAMENT
GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls is hosting the first annual Keith and Wade’s Revenge Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 2 as a fundraiser for capital improvements at the golf courses.
Who are Keith and Wade you might ask? They are the Golf Superintendents at Eagle Falls and Anaconda Hills Golf Courses and are passionate about improving the golf courses and keeping them in great condition for players.
The tournament will be a 5 Man Scramble and promises to be the most fun tournament of the season! Highlights will include sinister, evil and ridiculously difficult pin positions; and speedy greens that will keep you thinking below the hole and mess with your mind. Two competitive flights will be offered – The Potholes and The Washboards with equal prizes for both flights, keeping everyone in the game. Sound like fun yet?
The fee is $25 per player ($125 per 5 person team) and includes greens fees and prizes. Every dollar of entry fees will be dedicated to capital improvements. This year, the money will go toward cart path upgrades at Eagle Falls and, in 2013, the proceeds will go to cart paths at Anaconda Hills.
As if that isn’t reason enough to want to get in on this tournament, check out these fabulous prizes:
1. First Place teams will win greens fees and carts for an Eagle Falls’ Group Golf Outing for 16 people.
2. Second place golfers will each receive 2 – 18 hole greens fees with carts.
3. Third place winners each receive a $25 gift card courtesy of Eagle Falls’ Men’s and Ladies’ Clubs.
Deadline for entry is Wednesday, May 30. Teams may sign up at the desk at Eagle Falls Golf Club; the $125 entry fee must be paid at the time of sign up. Tournament participants can make a tee time when signing up for the tournament. Tee times will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The tournament will revert to an 8:30 shotgun if there is a sufficient field.
