Library Lunches Offer Gadget Assistance & Instruction
Great Falls, Montana – In September the Great Falls Public Library will be holding a series of lunchtime trainings and classes to assist people with using their mobile electronic devices.
Tech Hour @ the Library will be held on Wednesday, September 5 and Wednesday, September 12, from Noon to 1:00 pm in the Small Meeting Room. These drop-in sessions are designed to give one-on-one assistance to folks who bring in their electronic gadgets. These include e-readers, mp3 players, Smart phones, iPads, iPods, and other comparable gadgets. Knowledgeable staff will be present to help with training and tech support.
E-Readers 101 will be held on Wednesday, September 19 and Wednesday, September 26, from Noon to 1:00 pm in the Small Meeting Room. This class is an instructional presentation on using e-readers optimally. You are encouraged to bring your e-reader along. A small selection of e-readers will also be on hand. People are reminded to bring their user name and password for their Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Apple accounts.
