Great Falls Library
Great Falls, Montana – The Great Falls Public Library is holding an Amnesty Week, which will run from December 9 – December 15. These donations will be used to reduce or erase library fines from patrons’ accounts.
For every can or item of non-perishable food donated $5 in fines will be deducted from a library account, with a maximum of $50 deducted per account. This includes fines for Interlibrary Loans, but does not apply towards accounts that have already gone to collection. Also, food donations cannot be used for credit towards potential fines in the future or be combined to pay down fines on two or more accounts. However, donators can contribute food items to pay fines towards accounts other than their own.
Patrons who wish to participate in Amnesty Week @ the Library will drop their food off at the front desk. All food donations will be given to the Great Falls Community Food Bank. For more information call 453-0349.
