FREE DOWNTOWN PARKING
DURING THE HOLIDAYS
GREAT FALLS, Montana – With less than ten days of holiday shopping remaining, residents are reminded of the importance of shopping locally and are encouraged to help support the local Great Falls business community. As always, Downtown, metered parking is free on the weekends and to make this holiday season even brighter will be free Monday, December 17 through Monday, December 24.
There are over 1,000 metered parking spaces conveniently located within walking distance to more than one hundred Downtown specialty retail shops and restaurants; so there is a spot for everyone. To ensure everyone has access to parking this holiday season, the two-hour maximum parking limit at all parking meters will be enforced.
According to Wendy Thomas, Deputy Planning & Community Development Director, “Providing free parking is one way the City can help shoppers and visitors have a positive Downtown experience during the holidays, while promoting Downtown businesses. Buying locally benefits and strengthens our local economy.”
