Make It @ the Library
Great Falls, Montana – The Great Falls Public Library is hosting an exciting new program this summer. This MakerSpace Program, which runs from June 10 – August 16, is designed for young people 7 – 17. It will operate 32 hours per week and participation is on a first come, first serve basis, allowing up to 20 participants at a time. Participation is free.
This pilot program offers trained interns to provide guidance and instruction, as well as a safe, fun environment. It also provides the tools, equipment, guidance, space, and feedback that will enable participants the chance to learn about, build, and experiment with science and technology.
Some of the kinds of projects participants will be experimenting with are Squishy Circuits, ArtBots, eTextiles, Solar-Powered Vehicles, and anything else they might think of. It’s all about play and experimentation at MakerSpace, with the bonus of learning something along the way.
The MakerSpace schedule is as follows:
Mondays 10 am – 5 pm
Tuesdays Noon – 6 pm
Thursdays 10 am – 5 pm
Fridays Noon – 6 pm
Saturdays Noon – 6 pm
