START THE NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT
ADOPT A SHELTER PET!
GREAT FALLS, Montana – On Christmas Eve, fourteen Shelter dogs and cats were adopted and found their forever homes! There are dozens of dogs and cats still waiting to be adopted at the Great Falls Animal Shelter. One of the Shelter’s 2014 New Year’s resolutions is to find loving, forever homes for its animals. To start the New Year off right, on New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, December 31) from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shelter pets can be adopted for only $25. The adoption fee includes a rabies shot, vaccinations and the cost of spaying/neutering your new pet.
For kittens and puppies that are too young to be altered, there is a spay/neuter refundable deposit ($50 for kittens and $100 for puppies). Existing pet owners, who are interested in adopting, need to bring proof of vaccinations for their current pets.
This event would not be possible without generous community donors who support the Shelter and its animals. Funds to help off-set adoption costs are provided by the Shelter Sidekicks Adoption Fund. The cost to cover the spaying/neutering is provided by the generous donors of the Shelter’s Guardian Angel Fund and the Shelter’s partnering veterinarians.
