The Business Improvement District asked the City to look into the feasibility of returning the one-way roadways of 1st and 2nd Avenues South and 5th and 6th Streets to two-way roadways. After framing the issue in a "Discussion Paper" (1021k PDF) to help the City, the public and other interested parties to better understand the impacts and benefits of conversion, staff reviewed and analyzed the possibility of conversion. This analysis culminated in an Opinion Survey sent to property owners, business operators and residents along the subject one-ways.
The study is now complete. A summary of the results of the survey and conclusions of the study is included in the report titled, “One-Way Conversion Study – Conclusions.” ( 256k PDF)
