New Deputy City Manager

Jennifer Reichelt joins the city of Great Falls as the deputy city manager on August 16th. She comes to Great Falls with extensive experience in the public sector and local government.
Jennifer is relocating from the city of Glendale where she has been since July 2000. Since 2005, she has served as Glendale’s Deputy Marketing Director. While in Glendale she has also worked in the City Manager's Office, the Economic Development Department and Deputy City Manager’s Office.
In Glendale, Jennifer was responsible for the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Civic Center, advertising and branding for the city and developed citizen education and outreach plans. She also managed a budget of over $4.5 million.
She has several years of experience as a city spokesperson in the media and played an integral role in mega-event planning and logistics for events such as the 2008 Super Bowl, WrestleMania XXVI, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Spring Training. Jennifer managed the Glendale Centerline project, the city’s downtown redevelopment initiative and has directed numerous special projects for the city.
Jennifer has long considered Montana to be part of her “home.” Both of her parents were born and raised in Montana and she has family located throughout the state. She even spent her early years in Missoula and after her family moved to Arizona; Big Sky Country became the annual destination for summer family vacations.
She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and in 2000 with a Master’s of Public Administration. She is actively involved with her church, teaches Sunday School and is a community volunteer with Girls on the Run, a program that promotes healthy habits, self esteem and physical fitness in young girls. Her most recent personal accomplishments include completing sprint triathlons and the San Diego Rock N Roll Half Marathon this past June.
