Spring is in the air……
It is time to turn our attention to the outside of our properties. City ordinance #8.44 states nuisance weeds, grass and uncared for vegetation can not be in excess of 8”. All areas adjacent to your property from the curb, boulevard, fence lines and alley are included. Dandelions though not desired in lawns are not considered a nuisance weed as they normally don’t get taller than 8”. The ordinance only allows the weed investigator to have properties cut. There is no requirement that the property has to be sprayed.
Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep your property clear of weeds and debris. If you can help a friend or neighbor in need, please do so. Great Falls is a beautiful City; please help us keep it looking GREAT!
