ELLA AVENUE WATER TOWER MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENTS
GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls has a contract with TMI Coatings, Inc, to install structural improvements meeting current OSHA standards, sandblast the interior and exterior of the water tower, and to apply a new coating system over the interior and exterior of the tower. It is anticipated that the water tower will be out of service between August 8 and October 24, 2014.
During the construction period (approximately 11 weeks) the eastern one-third of Great Falls may experience fluctuations in their water pressure. Based on analysis of historic water usage, the anticipated fluctuations in water pressure will be slight and occur during the very early hours of each day when irrigation demand is greatest.
The public’s patience and consideration during this process is appreciated. For more information about the Ella Avenue Water Tower Maintenance and Improvements contact Jesse Patton, Civil Engineer, at 406-771-1258.
