SKYLINE TOWER MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE 1

GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls has a contract with Classic Protective Coatings, Inc, to install structural improvements meeting current OSHA standards, sandblast the interior and exterior of the water tower, and to apply a new coating system over the interior and exterior of the tower. It is anticipated that the water tower will be out of service between September 4 and October 3, 2014 while the first phase of the work is being completed.

During the construction period (approximately 4 weeks) the area north of Riverview Drive, portions of Falcon Ridge Subdivision, and the northern portion of Valley View Subdivision may experience fluctuations in their water pressure. Based on analysis of historic water usage, the anticipated fluctuations in water pressure will be slight and occur when irrigation demand is greatest.

The public’s patience and consideration during this process is appreciated. For more information about the Skyline Water Tower Maintenance and Improvements contact Jesse Patton, Civil Engineer, at 406-771-1258.
