STEAM Expo - Earth Day 2014 Celebration
The City of Great Falls is once again partnering with Great Falls Public Schools, Pacific Steel & Recycling, GF Tribune, Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Junior League of Great Falls, Malmstrom AFB, Weston Solutions, Citizen's for Clean Energy and Montana Waste Systems, Inc. to bring the STEAM Expo - Earth Day 2014 Celebration to the Great Falls area.
March 29, 2014
Great Falls High School Fieldhouse
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
We can use this event to look forward to Earth Day in April. Come get some great ideas from the many displays and activities to put to good use in the Spring. By having the STEAM Expo - Earth Day Celebration in March we can include more students and their families by not conflicting with other Spring activities and events. This should also help with parking availability.
This event is free to the public. Bring the family to participate and learn more about Earth Day and the activities of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math). There will be games, activities, informational booths and student projects on display. At around 1:30 PM the names of the Earth Day Poster Contest winners will be announced. The Expo will also have concessions, t-shirts and other related items for sale at the event to help support future Expos.
For more information on the STEAM Expo please check out the Great Falls Public Schools website: www.gfps.k12.mt.us/content/steam or call Luke Diekhans, GFPS Environmental Education at (406) 268-7338, Shelly Kelly at (406) 268-6037 or Roxie Benjamin at (406) 268-7337.
