Also present were the City Manager, Assistant City Manager, City Attorney, Directors of Park and Recreation, Community Development, Fiscal Services, Library, Public Works, Fire, Police and Acting Director of Planning and the Acting City Clerk.

Commissioner Hinz moved, seconded by Commissioner Jovick-Kuntz, that the City Commission accept the Consent Agenda as printed.
Motion carried 5-0.

Dona Stebbins addressed the Commission thanking them for the opportunity to service. She mentioned several projects that the Commission took an active interest in and helped them with. |

| Deputy City Clerk | 14.
John Lawton addressed the Commission explaining that Melodi Wald has resigned her position as Deputy City Clerk. He introduced her replacement, Carolyn Broquist. He went on to say that as time goes on and we approach the Lewis and Clark Celebration Peggy Bourne will be spending less and less time on City Clerk duties. |

| Proclamation presented to Katie Johannes. | 15.
Mayor Gray presented a proclamation of appreciation to Katie Johannes, the Great Falls Tribune Staff Writer who was leaving Great Falls to work at another newspaper. |

| Central Avenue Concerns | 16.
Karen Grove of 1816 1st Avenue North addressed the City Commission on her concerns with travel on Central Avenue. She wondered if there were plans to mark the streets that no longer have turn lanes. Jim Rearden, Public Works Director commented that they will be painting an additional center line as well as marking the lanes. Ms. Grove also expressed concerned with delivery trucks blocking the traffic in the evenings. John Lawton added that in addition to the temporary improvements, the street will be reconstructed in the spring with permanent solutions. |
