CITY’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE DISPLAY

GREAT FALLS, Montana –   As part of the community’s annual holiday celebration, City staff removed a 40’ Blue Spruce from 414 40th North on Friday and placed it in front of the Civic Center.  Natural Resource staff will finish placing the lights on the tree this week and it will be lit at the Parade of Lights finale scheduled for this Saturday at 6:00 p.m.  The tree will remain on display throughout the holiday season.

Tom Harant at H&H Crane Service donated the crane for the removal of the tree and Johnson Madison Lumber provided the low boy trailer for moving the tree to the Civic Center.  The tree could not have been moved without the equipment and staff donations from these two local businesses.

Those interested in donating a tree in the future should contact the Park and Recreation Department at 771-1265.
