Temporary Spring & Summer Positions Available Now!
The following job opportunities are available for 2013 spring and summer temporary employment with the Park and Recreation Department:
- Cashiers for Eagle Falls and Anaconda Hills Golf Courses
- Camp Counselors, Building Monitors and Program Assistants for the Recreation Center
- Lifeguards, Head Lifeguards, Pool Cleaners, Cashiers and Concessions Workers
- Seasonal Laborers and Irrigators for Parks and Golf Course Divisions
Salary range $7.80 - $13.79, depending on the position. Seasonal Laborers are part of the Laborers Local #1686 collective bargaining agreement. Depending on duration of employment, benefits may include sick and vacation accruals, prorated holiday pay, and optional retirement contributions.
If you are hired in a position that requires you to drive from one job site to another and you are being reimbursed for mileage, you will be required to provide documentation of a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance. The City is required to provide our insurance carrier with that information; therefore, you are required to submit the necessary documentation upon hire.
