Other Reports
- Analysis of Claims for Objection Purposes – Missouri River from Sun to Marias river Basin 41Q – The City of Great Falls owns water rights and diverts water for use from two different drainage basins. The City's 41QJ water right diverts water from the Missouri River for municipal use. Since place of use for 41QJ extends into basin 41Q, there was a need to evaluate both basins through the statewide adjudication process. The City retained the services of Water Rights Solutions to evaluate and review its water rights in these basins. WRSI was also asked to provide an analysis and summary of the type of claims or objections by other water users that could impact the city's water rights if left unchallenged. The City has retained Stephen R. Brown from the law firm of Garlington, Lohn, & Robinson to provide legal counsel to the City Commission regarding the report's findings.
