While traveling, sometimes you just feel the need to get some exercise. Great Falls has an abundance of opportunities for streching your legs (and the rest of your body). Whether you just need a nice leisurely walk or some serious downhill action, Great Falls has the facilities.

River's Edge Trail

Ice Plex

Electric City Water Park   The water park features an olympic-sized pool, water slides, kids's soak zone, and a FlowRider wave machine and lazy river. Open during Great Falls Public Schools summer vacation, Memorial Day weekend, and Labor Day weekend.  

Warden Park Folf Course

Montana has 16 ski areas. Three of them are near Great Falls.
Showdown -- Lots of locals go to Showdown. It is the closest, and they have a town office and a shuttle bus from a local parking lot. Drive time to Showdown is about an hour.
Teton Pass Ski Resort -- Drive time to Teton Pass is about 1.5 hours.
Great Divide -- Drive time to Great Divide is about 1.5 - 2 hours.
