• Increase the number of pets adopted into loving homes.
• Create a healthier and less stressful environment for pets that come to the shelter.
• Help the GFAS do more to prevent pet overpopulation and behavior problems, which cause people to abandon or relinquish their pets.

Do you prefer to shop for the animals or want to have something to bring into the shelter? Below is a list of our always needed items:

• Bleach Tablets

• Hand Soap Refills

If you are looking to make a larger item donation, we can always use cat scratchers made especially for animal shelters, available at StretchAndScratch.com.

Food Donations:

We feed our shelter animals Science Diet with a few wet food exceptions (see our Amazon Wish List). However, we do offer a public food pantry for the community. If you have food donations (including open bag) you can donate them to the food pantry for pet owners in need.
