City of Great Falls Animal Shelter appeals to community for support to replenish Guardian Angel fund

GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls Animal Shelter, a haven for countless homeless and abandoned animals, is urgently seeking assistance from the community to revive their Guardian Angel Fund. This crucial fund plays a pivotal role in the welfare and future of animals in need by facilitating spaying/neutering procedures and providing emergency medical care.

In recent months, the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter has faced an overwhelming influx of animals, stretching their resources to the limit. The shelter has had to manage the arrival of three litters of puppies, one of which required an emergency C-section to ensure the safety of both mother and pups. Additionally, a staggering batch of 19 kittens and three cats were heartlessly abandoned in totes at the shelter's back door – a heartbreaking act of cruelty that is not only inhumane but also illegal.

The demands on the Guardian Angel Fund have left it severely depleted, and the shelter continues to receive animals in need of assistance. In response to this critical situation, the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter is reaching out to the compassionate and caring community for support. It's our time to stand together and be the Guardian Angels these animals so desperately need.
