Great Falls residents interested in getting involved in their local government are encouraged to consider running for office. A municipal mail ballot election will be held this year for the selection of one (1) Mayor for a two-year term and two (2) City Commissioners for four-year terms, one (1) Municipal Judge for a four-year term, and forty-five (45) Neighborhood Council representatives consisting of five representatives in each of the nine districts for two-year terms.  All newly elected officials will take office in January 2016.

Neighborhood Council #6 residents will not want to miss the 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. in Sunnyside Park (1412 High Street). The event is hosted by Neighborhood Council #6 Representatives and is free and open to the public. The event will feature free ice cream and root beer floats as well as live entertainment from Max Sherritt.
