City of Great Falls Animal Shelter Hosts Virtual Auction to Support Homeless Animals

CITY OF GREAT FALLS ANIMAL SHELTER HOSTS VIRTUAL AUCTION TO SUPPORT HOMELESS ANIMALS

GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls Animal Shelter is excited to announce its upcoming Online Auction, running from April 10th at 6:00 am to April 15th at 6:00 pm. This virtual event aims to raise funds to support the shelter's mission of ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of domesticated animals and citizens in the community through education about responsible pet ownership.

The Online Auction will feature a diverse array of items generously donated by local businesses, individuals, and organizations. From practical essentials like water bottles to extravagant experiences such as trips to Tuscany and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities like a NASCAR driving experience, there's something for everyone.

"We are thrilled to host this Online Auction as a fun and engaging way to support our shelter and the animals in our care," said Laramie Smovir, Interim Operations Manager of the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter. "The generosity of our community in donating such incredible items truly showcases the spirit of compassion and support for homeless animals."

In addition to the exciting auction items, the event also offers opportunities for individuals to support the shelter through "Bid to Give" items. These include options such as feeding an animal for a week, sponsoring an adoption, or contributing towards the cost of spaying/neutering procedures.

"We want to encourage everyone to participate, whether you're bidding on items, donating directly to the shelter, or simply spreading the word about our cause," added Smovir. "Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant difference in the lives of the animals we serve."
